Solace x Charity Film

Solace Women’s Aid Charity Film showcasing their lifesaving work and interviews with survivors for their homepage.

What we achieved:

Solace needed a film to showcase the life-saving work they do supporting women and girls who’ve experienced domestic violence and abuse.

Roll Nine created a mini documentary of interviews with their incredible staff, as well as the women they’ve helped to reach a point of safety.

We were proud to film with a number of inspiring survivors who had been helped to flee to Solace’s refuges, as well as women who had, thanks to the help of the charity, completely rebuilt their lives.

The film was launched at their sold out International Women’s Day event at Rich Mix in London.

And the film was part of their Big Give Campaign that saw more than £50k raised for the charity.

So far the film has had a reach of more than 3000 across social channels with 300 likes, shares and comments.

A shorter cinematic advert of the film was also played at the Fragments Film Festival including ahead of a talk by 'The Woman King' director Gina Prince-Blythewood.

It now lives permanently and proudly on the Solace website to encourage women to seek support.
