Jenny Barck, CEO Knackeriet Coworking

I attended an incredible 'Introduction to Media and Training for Experts' session hosted by Kirsty. There is so much to praise in this recommendation, but two key areas were really beneficial;

1. Background and knowledge; for me this was key, not only getting trained to do something, but getting the understanding of how the media works, and why certain topics and key messages are so important, as well as how to deliver them. Kirsty has an expert knowledge in this area, and also created the space to share our experience to date and aims for the future.

2. Getting in front of a camera; Kirsty's light and fun energy simply makes this possible, even though this is probably the most scary thing for most people. It certainly was for me. However, after only a few exercises I felt so much more confident. Kirsty has a lot of experience being both in front and behind the camera, which offers a truly valuable perspective, which really came through in her training session.

I attended Kirsty's "Introduction to working with the Media and Media Training" workshop and would highly recommend it to anyone who may want or need to interface with the media.

In addition to learning general do:s and don't:s of articulating one's message on the record, there were plenty of insights to be found on how to actively end up on the media's radar rather than passively wait and hope to have your story picked up.

Finally; Kirsty herself is a pleasure to be around. Well spoken, intelligent and hilarious. Thanks for a great workshop!
